Ibrahim Qaraguzlu to Ma‘sumah Nizam Mafi
Ibrahim Qaraguzlu writes to Ma‘sumah Nizam Mafi [his future wife], telling her about the renovation of his house for her arrival, asking her to set a wedding date, and letting her know that he could visit her the following day. The accompanying envelope is addressed to Ma‘sumah Nizam Mafi at the household of Nizam al-Saltanah.

Fatimah Khanum ‘Izzat al-Saltanah (‘Izzat al-Dawlah) writes to her husband, ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma, to tell him that she misses him, about the letter she has received from Firuz, Daftar al-Muluk's visit, and that ‘Izzat al-Saltanah wishes to see the wedding of Firuz. She then discusses the situation of the Salariyah building and its need of repair; the note on the envelope is ‘Izzat al-Saltanah's writing; the verso has Farmanfarma's seal.

The author [possibly Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah] conveys family news: Mahmud Khan and Ma‘sumah Khanum both have a cold and Aqa [Nizam al-Saltanah] is preparing for his trip to Kirman. She talks about Salar Muhtasham's telegrams from Tabriz and the unrest there. ‘Izzat al-Saltanah describes the renovations in the Baha’ al-Mulk's garden. On the opposite page there is a note in a different handwriting about choosing a place, probably for vacation.

The addressee's reply indicates there was a delay in writing back due to the writer's illness; they approve the door request and Bihjat al-Saltanah bringing an architect to determine the price.
